"We found that women view men in red as higher in status, more likely to make money and more likely to climb the social ladder. And it's this high-status judgment that leads to the attraction."
"When women see red it triggers something deep and probably biologically ingrained," Elliot said. "We say in our culture that men act like animals in the sexual realm. It looks like women may be acting like animals as well in the same sort of way."
Elliot & his colleagues asked 288 female and 25 males undergraduate students at the University to examine photos of a man in which his shirt was digitally colored either red or another color. The women said the red shirt made the man appear more powerful, attractive and sexually desirable.
The women had the same responses when looking at a man's photo that was framed by a border of either red or white.
There is no question that having a little red on apparel is a time-tested proven way for any man to look more sexually attractive to women, or even if the color is visible in a man's surrounding! 
 
2) It Has a Big Letter T
The letter T has a powerful psychological effect on anyone who looks at it. 
According to a study by Nottingham Trent University consisting of 30 women being showed a photograph of a man wearing a plain white shirt with a big letter T and then wearing a plain shirt, the women unanimously saw the man as noticeably more attractive when wearing the shirt with the big letter T printed on it. 
Why is this?

Well, the big black T causes all the focus to shift on it and away from the man's body, and just as the T is broad on the top and slim on the bottom, it causes women or anyone looking at the man wearing the T-shirt to perceive the man as having a similar appearance; broad shoulders and a slim waist, which is a sign of a masculine frame!
 
So wearing a shirt with a big T printed on it can actually make you look more masculine & fit!

According to the study by the University, men who are over-weight or have waists as wide as their shoulders have the most to gain from wearing a T-shirt. Some men wearing the shirt even looked up to 12% more attractive to women, which is a massive increase in appeal!
